Dale Darcy29 August 2026Rutroh, my good wife announced we are hosting a baby shower at our home in five weeks. However, our kitchen was, literally falling apart. It had been thirty years since we redid our kitchen, and boy, was it showing its age. I did not want to be embarrassed by our kitchen, and told my wife not to host the shower here. My wife response was, nope, no way, no how. it is happening here. That's when I got busy and did some reno research and luckily found the AdoreYourKitchen site. Jim and his team of professional installers have all the resources and the good taste to guide us through product design and selection. Never once did we feel pressured and their suggestions were, bang on. We told Jim about our upcoming shower dates, that were only five weeks away. Jim, assured us it would be a tight timeline, but could be done. AdoreYourKitchen rose to the time challenge and got our whole main floor re-floored with vinyl plank flooring, resurfaced our existing cabinets and installed new quartz backsplash and countertops. They also had an excellent painter available and he did two floors, two coats in one day. All the various installs with the plumber and electrician, all ran like clockwork. We always got calls back within the hour and we got our job completed three days ahead of our big shower. Everyone LOVED what AdoreYourKitchen has done here. We had great ambitions to complete a full kitchen renovation but didn’t know where to start and what options made sense for us and our budget. We also had a pressing need to complete the renovation in a short number of weeks before hosting a large baby shower. Jim came to our house, laid out the options and the pros and cons of each approach, helped us with colour schemes and never once pushed his own agenda… it was so refreshing and informational. Through every step in the process Jim and Team explained what would happen, when it would happen and updated regularly to confirm exact times of arrival .. and even through a winter snow storm met every one of their dates. They even finished the job a day early much to our delight! Kelly Murray18 January 2026I am so glad that people write reviews. They were the reason that I decided to call Jim from Adore Your Kitchen to completely renovate my kitchen. I had called several of the other large kitchen companies over the summer to get some quotes and design ideas. It is now January and I still never heard back from a single one of them. I called Jim and spoke immediately to him and within a couple of days was at my house and started the whole process. You can tell from the moment you meet Jim that he cares so much about his customers in that they are not only getting exactly what they want affordably but also that the process goes smooth and as stress free as possible. I have heard nothing but horror stories about renovations and living in limbo for months. I know that as soon as the kitchen was completed (which was less than 3 weeks!) I said to Jim that I wish I had another kitchen to renovate! It was actually incredibly enjoyable. Jim and his crew along with all the other electricians, plumbers and countertop companies that he recommends and works with were so professional and such dedicated workers we looked forward to them showing up on schedule and literally transforming our space! We also read on-line reviews and were very impressed with the feedback previous clients were giving. We contacted “Adore Your Kitchen” and Jim arranged a meeting to go over the kitchen re-facing. Jim went through the scope of the work, provided samples for us to look at and also made several good suggestions that we incorporated into the project. His quotation was very cost competitive. Jim was very helpful and professional in his dealings with us Ferzeen provided us with the project start date as well as a “List of things to prepare for the Kitchen Project” which we found very useful. On the project start date Nick & Phil arrived on time and put down drop sheets to protect the floors. They did an excellent job and were finished in a day and a half. They were very detail oriented. The end result was a Kitchen re-facing that we are extremely happy with. I would not hesitate to recommend “Adore Your Kitchen” to any of my family or friends. When I searched online I saw Adore Your Kitchen had really high ranking with almost perfect reviews. I was wondering why they are so highly recommended. I called Adore Your Kitchen and Jim came over to our place. When chatting with Jim, we felt he is not only a contractor but more like a friend who really thinks about what you need not what they want you to get. He also gives his professional opinion on the layout of the drawers and cabinets according to your daily living needs. His samples are with good taste and you can tell he is not just bringing in some samples but the samples he already filters and will be accepted by most of the customers. This makes our decision experience way easier than choosing from thousands of options while we are not familiar with styles or materials. Once we have decided the style and material, Ferzeen the project manager sent us a detailed schedule listing our all the steps and dates the team will come. A couple days before the actual dates, Ferzeen will send a reminder listing out who will come and what we need to prepare for their arrival. This is very convenient and thoughtful. She always can point out the part we didn’t even think about. It’s very relaxing for us too as we don’t need to feel stressed about what we need to do before and after. The team is amazing as well. They arrived and showed up on time and took time to make sure everything is done with good quality. When we had questions they would answer our questions with patience. We were amazed by the finished work every time for different part of the project including lighting, refacing and backsplash etc. After more than 10 years living in our old kitchen, this brand new kitchen makes us love our home even more than any day in the past. I also liked the gallery showing updated, modern kitchens with refaced cabinets, drawers and countertops which looked as good as new. I realized refacing would reduce landfill waste and help us achieve a modern, updated kitchen without breaking the bank account. Calling Jim Ginwalla, owner/designer at Adore Your Kitchen was the best decision we made in terms of design ideas, project timeline, pricing and customer satisfaction experience! It started with an in-home consultation he did with us, without making us feel rushed while being extremely patient in accommodating whatever design ideas we had. Closer to the start date, a work schedule was sent to us, clearly explaining each day of the project which was followed with precision until completion within the specified timeframe of two weeks! We would like to thank the whole team of Nick, Phil, Kyle (plumbing) and Alicia who did high quality work and brought our new look kitchen to life. Jim is very professional, he answered all my questions/concerns (and there were many) with complete honesty and made reasonable suggestions when we weren't exactly sure which way to go! The work took 2 days from start to finish, the crew was awesome and to say we are ecstatic with our new kitchen would be an understatement!!! I would highly recommend The Kitchen Refacer!!
